Statistically this App would save every American user approx. $1000 per year due to improvement of his\/her medical compliance. This saving could mean up to $290 billion \/year in the USA <em>(New England Healthcare Institute 2013; E. Sabat\u00e9; WHO \u2013 Adherence to Long-Term Therapies; WHO report 2003)<\/em>. In comparison, Germany\u2019s statistical saving would lie at 19 billion Euro, i.e. $320 per person\/year (<em>IMS Health 2013, <a title=\"IMS Health 2013\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pharmazeutische-zeitung.de\/index.php?id=49097\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/www.pharmazeutische-zeitung.de\/index.php?id=49097<\/a><\/em>).<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u2018iMedicplan\u2019<\/em><\/strong> already raised high profile scientific, sociopolitical and medical interest \u2013 its first official presentation happened at <strong>ASCO<\/strong> <em>(American Society of Clinical Oncology)<\/em> in Chicago, on 29th May 2014 (<em>e17534 journal Clinical Oncology 32, 2014; <a title=\"J Clinical Oncology\" href=\"https:\/\/meetings.asco.org\/abstracts-presentations\/95718\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/meetings.asco.org\/abstracts-presentations\/95718<\/a><\/em>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nobel-Laureate Professor zur Hausen<\/strong>, convinced by the greatness and benefits of this brainchild, supported and ensured its successful path to <strong>ASCO<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This App <strong><em>\u2018iMedicplan\u2019<\/em><\/strong> offers five further significant functions in addition to the support of a patient\u2019s medical compliance.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prevention program for children and adults<\/li>\n<li>Vaccination scheme<\/li>\n<li>Contraindication check within applied medicines<\/li>\n<li>Controlling tool for diabetics<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring tool for cancer patients<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Above functions prove that saving potentials and increase of quality of life are far larger than shown in the studies of <strong>New England Healthcare Institute<\/strong> (2013).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>German scientists developed an innovative idea into an App for iPhone\/iPad, named \u2018iMedicplan\u2019.
